I'm running as an Independent because I believe our communities need strong, independent leadership and representation in Parliament.

Not someone who follows party lines, but someone who asks two simple questions about every decision: Is it fair? And is it good for our region? Because decisions about our future should start with us.

We've listened to the community and here's where I stand on the issues we're facing and what you told me are your priorities.

Cost of Living

From young families to pensioners, everyone's feeling the squeeze. We need real solutions that help bring down bills right now - and fix the long-term problems. This includes better access to childcare, housing and transport and fighting to get the services and infrastructure that actually meets our needs in the region.

Jobs and Industry

We've seen it too many times: big companies and major projects come to town, take what they want, then leave our communities to pick up the pieces. It happened with the Port Augusta power station, the steelworks and the smelter. Now we have mining and renewable energy companies doing the same thing – making big promises but giving little back. That's not good enough. We need new industries that work with us, commit to developing a local workforce and invest in our towns for the long term. I'll continue to fight to make sure our communities get a proper say in their own future.

Healthcare

It's not fair that where you live determines if you can see a doctor. Many towns in Grey don't have a GP at all, let alone one who bulk bills. We need to fix this by working with local doctors and communities to find solutions that actually meet our needs.

Education and Skills

I've seen what works in regional education. At Uni Hub Spencer Gulf, we've helped hundreds of locals study without leaving home. But it only worked because it was designed with local communities. We need this same approach for all training and education: solutions that work for us, not city ideas forced on regional areas.

Most importantly, being an Independent means representing YOU. So please get in touch and tell me what issues matter most to you this election for our community.
