How to Vote

A few people have asked how I will be directing voting preferences. My answer is – your preferences will go wherever you want them to go!

As an Independent I have not done any preference deals and I am not telling you how to order your list of candidates.

I hope you will put me in the number 1 spot on your ballot paper. After that, please determine your own order. For your vote to count you must number every box.

For example, if you are more traditionally a Liberal supporter, put [1] Anita Kuss, [2] Liberal candidate and then number the rest of the boxes however you choose. If you have a stronger leaning towards Labor, put [1] Anita Kuss, [2] Labor candidate and then number the rest of the boxes in whatever order you like.

Democracy is in your hands – you don’t need to vote how the parties tell you to! I would encourage you to make up your own minds about how you order the candidates on your ballot.
